    92coupe : 1992 Accord EX

About one-two months after I bought my 'CB7' coupe. No mods here, just some skate propaganda that I have now removed fro a cleaner overall look.
    As of now: March 2004

    Engine

    Unorthodox pulley kit
    AEM c.a.i.
    Monza catback exhaust

    Suspension/Wheels

    Koni adjustables
    S/T sport springs
S/T front and rear sway bars

    Interior

    Cusco E-Brake Button
    Razo brushed aluminum pedals
    Razo brushed aluminum shift knob
the rest is stock for now

    Exterior

JDM OEM one-piece headlights with Sylvannia Osram 8000k H4 HIDs
    JDM OEM sidemarkers
    JDM OEM fogs
DIY 90-91 grill...blacked out......still workin on it. Once I learn how to work with fiberglass then I will smooth it out, put mesh in it, then make it resemble the JDM Accord Si grill. Will post once I actually find time to learn fiberglass and then finish off the grill.

    Future Mods

carbon fiber hood...as you can tell i need to replace the stock one
    jdm h22a
    tein coilovers
buddy club P-1 spec II's or some volk's

Sometime in Fall 2003. JDM one-pieces installed, JDM sidemarkers installed, Monza cat-back installed (can't wait to replace with something much better), AEM cai installed.

Spring 2004. JDM fogs installed, DIY blacked out 90-91 grill installed (still a work in progress though), used Authentic JDM plate from Chiba, Japan installed.

photoshopped some Volk LE-37t's over my stock steelies.

another photoshop pic. JDM plate in place of USDM plate. thought it looked cool.

April 2004 Cusco rear strut bar.

Full shot of Cusco rear strut bar installed.

nice to see that you are taking the jdm path in both styling and performance. looks very clean... can't wait to see it w/ the carbon fiber hood and a lowered stance.

which wheels are you looking to buy?

      looking at
p1 racing spec II's (the one piece...so i wont have to worry about every little bump warping em)
      5zig copse
      volk le37 t

hoping not to drop the stance too much more..already rubbing enough on atl roads....plus want to try and maintain the grocery getter look.....to be very sneaky sneaky

Nice ride. Looks great. I like the mods so far. 5ZigenCopse wheels...Never thought about that on a cb. Probably would look pretty nice. Ah yes, Tein coilovers. I wan't some too. Are you talkin' the basic coilover. Nice. Sucks that they are $750. Oh well, they are probably worth every penny. Keep up the good work!

Also let me know when you get rid of your six spokes.(if you are) I want some. I have been trying to get some for a while.

volk le37t's do not come in our bolt pattern.

            NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not after finally makin up my mind to go with the LE37t
i mean if i went with p1 spec IIs i would end up always wishing i had gone with the two piece even though it would end up warping bending or something....and the 5zig copses are hot but my friend went with five star rims. polished lip. gunmetal finish..so it would look the same as his...even though he drives an e36 with privats...even my girlfriend thought the le37ts were hot....why why why

as for the tein coilovers not the basic..dont get me wrong friend has em and his cd6 is stiff as hell..but i want more adjustability than that..i like gadgets and things to adjust to see what happens...and tein is spose to be puttin out a coilover that offers ride height, damper, rebound, and the 16 click thing on top...hopefully it will allow use of the in car controls...no more tearing through the back seat to make that little adjustment...just dial it in

and the stock rims...yeah i prolly will sell em once i get a hold of whatever rims i end up gettin

              go to 5lug how

is there anyway to go 5 lug...without causing problems later...all i know so far is to stay away from acura stuff on a cb7...arent some preludes 5 lug...if it means replacing axels then spose i will wait until after i save enough $$ to buy my JDM H22a and have it installed and tuned to the car and my driving..then i can go with rims cuz i will need to have better braking than stock and the axels could use replacin....oddly enough the fact that it is diffucult for me to find just the right parts for my car not only makes me frustrated but i enjoy it...love my cb7 coupe

what do you guys think of putting a couple layers of paint over a carbon fiber hood.....just enough to "get rid of the evidence"...just curious

Just let me know about the rims. Anyway, when are those coilovers coming out? Those sound nice. I think that those would be a heck of a lot better than the basic. It would suck if they didn't have the incar control though. Also, I looove your headlamps. Those are the same ones that I wan't. I like how the crome ring ties in with the crome in the grill. They look great. Sucks about the volks. Hate it when that happens. Oh well.

The idea about the paint on cf hood sounds cool. Are you talking about making it look like stock?

looks good. nice and clean. if i didn't look hard enough, i wouldn't notice the subtle changes- exactly what you're looking for.

Hey there, neighbor!!! Hotlanta represent, yeah!

Nice JDM look so far, although I would have gone with the 92-93 headlights myself. I would powdercoat your stockies gunmetal or dark bronze, there's a shop here in town that'll do the job for a couple hundred for all four, get some low-pro tires, drop it, all-red-out the tails and call it a day!!!

BTW, wanna meet up with some other fourth genners, plus some other JDM-style cars? Gimme a call, (404) 429-9815, ask for Jarvis...

ppl never like the chrome trim 9091 jdm's... i prefer them over the 9293 (might be why i have them )

ur car looks really great, i love the look. red/clear tails look so amazing on black cars, ur car would look OUTSTANDING with a set of them... i say do a trunk lid swap soon, or red them out in the meantime. ur car looks really good with the stock alloys, the height is good. nice car!

Are you talking about making it look like stock?

exactly...this way if i do go out for some racing the mods wont be as noticable (especially at 2am)...and if i take my car for a show i just pop the hood to show the underneath then the judges know it is a carbon fiber hood....

as for the volk LE37t's i just need to find a way to switch over to 5 lug and problem solved
