So it's been a long time since I've been on here. Haven't done much to my old car since I've last posted, but now I've sold it. This is how it looks now.

It still had some rust inside the wheel well and had 242K miles on it. Didn't really wanna continue on it so I sold it for 2,100 and picked this up... for 2,000

It's only got 144k and in great condition inside and out. Only problem I've noticed so far is it grinds giong into second gear. Clutch? Anyone know what the problem would be off hand?

Excited to be back into it and work on a new car. Already have some wheels, exhaust and some other stuff to add to it. Oh... yes, it's a stick and it has the red interior.

      Nice!

Try changing the fluid in the transmission.... Use Honda genuine manual trans fluid only...(IMO).... Run it for a short while then change it again... The previous owner may have run the wrong fluid....

Thanks. I'll try changing the fluid to see if it helps.

Keepin' the color. I love the light gold/black combo. I should add that it's a 93 LX. And I love Tempe/Phoenix area. So much to do here and no more horrid MI winters.

Thanks. I freaked when I saw this listed and bugged the poor girl every minute until I had it.

Btw, how many quarts of fluid does my transmission take?

                  A/T = 2.5qts

Im not sure about the exact size, but the inner diameter (the hole that fits over the threaded portion of the drain bolt) is 14mm. The washer does NOT extend past the flange of the bolt, in-fact, the circumference is the same.

As a Honda Technician, i use these EVERYDAY. I'll snap a pic with one on a bolt so you can see the exact dimensions, if you like.

So I changed my tranny fluid to the Honda fluid. It helped but it still grinds going into second gear at higher rpm's. Do I need to spend some more time driving with the new fluid or is there another likely problem?
