    youngflyndsaved : 1991 Accord LX

UPDATED AS OF: JULY 22, 2012
swap pics and progress at the beginning of page 2.
    Pictures on every page .

background story: been used as a family car since 2001, purchased at $6900. was originally that dark purplish blue but after an accident was painted silver(horrible paintjob by a home-garage mechanic). after both my parents purchased 2 3rd gen Lexus GS300s, the car was mine before i even turned 16. this is the car i first learned how to drive and that's why i plan to keep it for a long time. another reason i just recently learned (in 2011) that's keeping me attached to it, is that when my Grandfather from my Mom's side (Chamorro side) passed away -RIP- my Mom used some of the money she received to purchase this car.

how it looked when i first began the whole modification process.

    how it's been looking lately.

no sir only one block for right now. one head is getting ready to be mated with the block and dropped in soon. while the other one is sort of my spare that i plan to get it rebuilt for a turbo setup with bisimoto valve train and all that good stuff . i need to get the feel of "all-motor" as i've never had a car with 200 hp. i tried to drive my dad's friends fully built b16 ek and the clutch locked so fast that it scared me sort of lol i didn't wanna drive it after that. but that was 3 yrs ago when i was 16.

                  Sweet another member outta Guam.

How long have you been stateside? I lived in Guam and Palau years ago (1988 - 94), and I actually lived in Tamuning near Onward Hotel and Resort. Micronesia Mall and Tumon were the shit..beach ALL day.

Lots of memories and I hope to go back as I have family there.

Welcome to the boards bro and nice ride keep up the good work

The side mouldings came out great bro.

ive been wanting to do this but to my Side skits and CD5 lip as well , i dislike having to use tire dressing on them to make them look "New" lol..

                    Nice upgrades as well.
