I still consider myself a beginner at autocrossing, just to let you know. I still have a few or more different setups to try before I can say I have a good setup.
When I started autocrossing I already had my car for two years. For the first few events I already had tokico illuminas, bushing kit, eibach pro kit, strut tower bars, and some hankook tires with a 340 treadwear. So im not sure which of those made the biggest impact towards auto-xing. Because I wasn't happy with the amount of body roll I experienced my first few events.
Then I installed ground control coilovers, progress sway bar and hankook rs-2's. Out of all of those mods, the biggest difference I noticed was when I switched tires. Night and day grip difference. The other mods just got rid of body roll. Now I need to figure out the right spring rate setup to transfer the weight the way I want.
