Yea I taped up the gold, all I did was guide the razor on the edges, but when I pulled te tape off even after it sitting 24hrs and pantsing the tape, it peeled too much gold off so I scraped the rest off. Ended up just taping the lip and sprayed it all black the scraped the paint off where I wanted.



Going back on the car like this. The smoothest grit I have is 220 so no polishing or bolts till I get another job.

Thanks! I actually sold the lip and now waiting for my vision replica lip. The side skirts I want don't go with that lip. It does look sick tho.i was just checking yours out,looks georgeous, hope u get another foglight.

Pole is gone, sold it to a sort of local guy.
I did have an eBay pole u can see in some pics but gone too.

Sure hope I'm ready by Honda day! I just need a head for the motor. Might start tearin up the motor today, it's really nice out.

Got a new jdm vision lip replica from jack lee. Very satisfied! Just stuck the bumper on it for a min.





And got the rim on the car. Looks way better!

Off to the mechanic finally, should be running real soon, right after its running its getting plastidipped Matt black.



Already did the bumper with the crappy tip but just got the new tip in and it's SOO much better.

Well I didn't get the swap done yet, needed a clutch, which I got from autozone. It's installed with the new block. But I now need a head, gasket set, and 3 motor mount before they'll finish.

I have a question- do u think the block should be honed cause of the ring at the top of the cylinders? It's got some rust starting.
