Nice sleeper man. the car needs a little lowering though looks like a 4x4 but other than that a really clean car for a 93.

I had a plug-in for CB7tuner.com at the local dealership here for a guy who had recently bought this 93 Accord EX I was looking at a while ago.

Car looks nice, a true sleeper. Are you going to make that swap legal? if so let me know what you have to do cause i'm thinkin of swappin in the H and making it legal, but I have to wait until the Summer of 2006 when I have all the money saved up

Ya, I'm going to make the swap legal. I have an appt with the ref on Monday. And yes, I DO need to clean out the interior, but it's mostly just dust from the shop where the swap was done and the weather here has been pretty nasty lately. I'll be at the mini 650 meet in Foster City on May 7th if anyone wants to see the car. I'm looking forward to it! I've been thinking about lowering the car about an inch or inch and a half, but I really need to get the exaust done first! The H is choking with the stock LX exaust...

Well.... The ref passed all of the visual, except that I didn't have the E.O. # for the AEM air bypass valve. MAKE SURE you have all of the E.O. (CARB stuff) stickers on your mods (my header had it cast into a plate on the header).

But it failed the snifffer test... Hi NOx and HC at 15 mph, so I got a new cat (and full exhaust) to fix the NOx and I'm going to run some injector cleaner through the motor to see if I can lower the HCs. Then make another appt with the ref (1st appt is $30 +$8.25 for the cert (if it passes), 2nd appt is no charge) and try to get it passed.

So I guess that's good news and bad news. But it sure does run better with the new exhaust!
