    '93EX : 1993 Accord EX

Here is my beautiful CB7. Picked her up for $6k last September. 1 owner and low mileage. I am a car fanatic. There cannot be 1 piece of dirt on her.

nice, i have a soft spot for clean arcadia green cb7s. low miles, similar to my last one, although i can't say the same about my present one. seems like the autos generally have lower miles.

i see that you plan to drop around 2.25in, good choice of ride height. not such a good choice to go with arospeed coils. most of the threaded coilovers usually seize or drop a little on hard bumps, they aren't great for daily driving. if i were you, i'd go with neuspeed race, or eibach sportlines (mine is pretty sweet). or if you really want coils, and your insistent on getting sleeves, grab some ground control (gc utilizes eibach springs on their sleeves) or full coilover setup (then you wont have to buy shocks/struts) such as d2, omnipower, tein, ksport, those can be had for 600-800$. with a spring/shock combo (a good one at that) it will run you around 500$ (if you install yourself), i think while spending a little more, it is worth it for the adjustibility and versatility of having full coilover setups.

i will check back to see your progress on this car, and hopefully you check out my member's ride thread to possibly get some ideas for your car

edit: i see you like z3 fenders, maybe you should think about that though because those aftermarket replacements are relatively weaker than oem, and will crack under body weight pressure. plus they are riceboy's dreams, and from the looks of your car, i think it would look sweet if you kept it "clean."

now that's a super clean ride with low miles. you have about another 8 or so years before that motor craps out. i love the fact that you have the original floormats as well!

            let's begin the devirginization!

I got mine for $2200 with 72k on the clock...no rust no nothing. To get it to where it is now though (minus mods) I've prob. put $2000 in it on new parts and stuff.

As far as the drop, it really depends on your budget. For $450-500, you really can't beat the Neuspeed Sports w/some quality shocks (Tokico HP's/KYB GR2 or AGX). Great ride and handling and you don't REALLY need a camber kit; just keep your toe in order. Beyond that, there are some lower priced coilovers (Hayame, Tein Basics), but you can get Koni Yellows for the same price w/some quality springs. Look around, see what people have, and make your decision from that...we have a lot of options.

Thanks for the comments so far. I have been looking around for suspension components for awhile now. I wanted to see what you folks had in mind before I made a final decision.

Regarding the car itself. I have had the car for 10 months and have driven right under 3000 miles. Got the car with 83,587 on the clock.

I was thinking about the Z3 fenders. I was looking at body kits but I want to keep the original curves that the car has. So I opted to not get a body kit. Was looking at Z3 fenders but hadn't made my mind up yet.

I'll get a shot of the CD player when I get home from work tomorrow. Other than that, I will just keep saving for the suspension parts. I live at work for this car! But, it is worth every second.

I have been looking at some springs, since that is what most folks have. I like adjustability, but now that I think about it, I won't really need that feature. For my car, I have nailed it down to 2.25 in the front and 2.25-2.5 in the rear. The rear being more b/c I measured it with a tape measure and the rear on the left+right is a tad higher than the front (im guessing b/c of the engine).

I am looking at Neuspeed Race springs and KYB AGX shocks. I don't know about the camber kit though. Ingall's suggests it's camber kit for a drop up to 1.5 in. Anyone else know of a good quality camber kit that would be suitable for the drop I am trying to achieve. Everytime I look at that fender gap, it makes me sick to my stomach.

                      Thanks.
