Looking at the pictures again I like it from a top view (the cat). It looks so clean reminds me of a dc2 and the cd5 grills.

The picture of the straight view is what makes the gap look big

All in all it looks good!

I'm actually working on modifying one of my authentic chargespeed grills. Hehe

I wanted that wide gaping look, hence the reason I chopped off the upper part of the grill.

I didnt want mine to look like a chargespeed, so I cut off the top part, and it worked! Looks awesome in my eyes.

And I made the eyelid a bit shorter too.
