His head gasket is totally blown. It happened after driving like 10 miles with the radiator cap off, and then overheated.

Totally why I like to work on my own car, by myself. I get nervous when others want to help, unless they have proven themselves to be trustworthy. I can list on one hand how many I trust enough to work on my crap or my family's cars.

oh wow, thats a big OOPS....sorry man. Yeah Honda's taking their own sweet time w/ my car, I gave it to them yesterday at 1030am and its 945 now and still no word yet. The techs there are doing a block test after they've already done a compression test, to make for sure if its a HG or not on my car.

dude! clear your PM box! okay well I'm gonna ask you my question here.

okay I'm looking at my haynes manual now and do I need to remove the camshaft off the head before I take the head off? or does it stay on w/ it as the head comes off? and those ARP head bolts, for my F22, would I need F22 ARP head bolts or would the H23 head bolts fit on my F22?

you can leave the cam in to pull it, but they are probably going to tell you to remove all that when you go to get it resurfaced.

get the h23 arp bolts, they dont make f22 bolts that i am aware of. the h23 bolts work fine, i know for a fact that my self and cisco are running them on f22s.
