Got the tires installed, alignment done, insurance taken care of...hehe...and inspection is coming soon.

Car drives SOOOOO much better with the tires and alignment....
Tech showed me the beginning measurements and EVERYTHING was out of limits. Front and Back. So, now that everything is squared away with the alignment it feels like a new car.

later I will post pics of the tire wear....kinda scary.

Make sure to align your car after ANY work done to steering, suspension(lowering), axle change, engine swap, tranny swap from auto....just please make sure!!

I spent over $200 not including the price of the alignment in parts due to neglegence!!!

Please get your car aligned ASAP after any work is done like I mentioned above!

I still have an exhaust leak to deal with on this POS egay header. damn bolts keep falling out!!! I am about to install them and drill the nuts and safety wire the things into place so they won't back out any more.

After I get my inspection I plan on going out to the local hot spot a few times....sounds like a kick a$$ tailgait party....hahaha

Got 2 weeks off from work and am BORED!!!
I plan to fix the horn situation, the exhaust leak of EGAYdom, and get that inspection.

anyone know if reverse lights are part of the safety inspection? Tranny swap left me without reverse lights.

                    Not here.
This is my 1st car with working reverse lights.

I've never even been asked to put it in reverse.

I just need the o2 sensor so that I can go without having a CEL on all the time.

                                LOL....just mishaps....

On the way to work I was on the freeway and going about 70 and then my friggin lip broke off one side and then went under the car....drove over half of it and drug the rest all the way to work....moral of the story...no mo lip

                                then....

on the way to work I was on the freeway cruising along around 70 again...hehe..then I heard a noise like loose hardware rattling, then something fell off and went *jingle-clang*....the car drove ok so I continued to go to work. I left work and my steering wheel wasn't centered anymore....more like taking a right turn and the car was going straight. Every time I got into the car to go somewhere the steering wheel was turned in a different direction from being centered. SO....I looked at the ball joints thinking the locknut on top of my spc adjustable balljoints fell off, nope...so I looked further trying to push on the front driver's wheel and found the steering rack VERY loose.
heh...my freaking mounting bolt for the steering rack was GONE!!! and I was driving like that for like 4 days.

but of course I had an extra bolt left over from the last trip to the junk yard...lol...love those hidden pockets in toolbags.

So the car drives fine now I added some tunes so the drive to work is "more interesting" oh and I have no lip.....need to get one back on the car soon.
