My first HDR Photos

These are my first photos using HDR. Let alone my first photos ever taken as an amatuer photographer. Let me know what you think

I used a Kodak EasyShare Digital Z1012 IS (point and shoot) w/tripod, and Photomatix Pro 3 HDR Generator with 3 different picture exposures at -1,0,+1

How are you guys doing the HDR shots with motion shots? I just started messing with HDR stuff (and failing pretty badly).

Im guessing they are doing it as a RAW single file HDR

Oh, for moving shots you'll probably need to shoot raw and then create several exposures from a single image.

^^^ Yep, Pseudo HDR....not really HDR though but nince sometimes none the less.

I think HDR is interesting to look at sometimes, however I think sometimes people use it as a crutch to make up for lackluster results from behind the eyepiece (I've been guilty of it). When you have a great picture with amazing light and want to play around with it then I think that's where HDR really shines. You have to start out with something good before editing, a point which some people tend to forget (Once again, me as well ).

That being said, there are some pretty decent shots in this thread

Yesterday a friend of mine let me snap some pictures at a local park, It wasnt the best location but I tried to be creative.









I love the color of his car and these pictures do not do his ek any justice!
As always any criticism is welcomed!
