This is another forum that I belong to ^ it's called POTN .. a site dedicated to Canon Photographers.
Just like our very own CB7Tuner forum .. so yes, it's as special a place there, as it is here.

Yeah .. it's a very long story, and IF you can find it in yourself to read every post in that thread,
you'll understand why I wanted to share it in the first place ...

Well .. I'll leave it up to you to read the very first post in the thread .. it's the least you could do!

Anyway .. long story short .. the cops confiscated the lens .. + made him pay for shipping ..
We tried everything we could, from offering legal assistance, to some really crazy idea's LOL!

In the end? One of our very own members set up a paypal fund to help this guy recover the $$$.
It's not been but a day or so .. and we're over $1131.00 .. wooot!

This dude just made the right decision, wasn't an idiot about it .. and never expected this!
I love forum communities like POTN .. not to mention our very own CB7T ..

are what really make this wonderful world trully a great place to live ..

It's just sad that we seem to forget it from time to time ...
