ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Cable Shifter Bushings

Has anyone heard of these corsport cable bushings on there h22 yet?

    http://www.corsportusa.com/store/cat...oducts_id=1110

My girlfriend has a 06 civic si and she bought these bushings, when they came in I said to myself, "these look exactly like the right size for the accord bushings." When I was installing them I took the new bushings and tried to put them on my car and what do you know, they fit perfectly. So I drove my girlfriends car after and I can't explain how nice they feel, I mean the shifting is so nice and smooth I loved it.

i can only assume that the bushings on hondas are standard in size considering this is for a civic.

              hey all,

does anyone know for sure whether this will fit an 00 civic dx? my buddy has one, and I told him I was ordering these and he would like to get them.....BTW, on the same site they have these puppies specifically for our car, so no need to order the civic ones.

His civic shifts like crap, he's envious of how much nicer my car is for shifting already, especially when its 10 years older and has twice the mileage. If anyone knows for sure, I'll order these bad boys for him, and hopefully he'll feel better about the fact he has a lousy grandma getter

If I am not mistaken, those Civics are mechanically linked for the shifter. So like a shaft goes through the floor and out the bottom and rods sit under the car.

So, no, because they are not cable shifted.

well that explains why it shifts like a pile of cat crap in a smelly old sock........so I'll just tell him to sell his Doesn't Xcellerate and buy a real car AKA an Accord! Thanks!

oh, cool. good on you man, I was wondering why that was about the only thing that site had for our model....good example of a reason to communicate with the suppliers I guess.
