Well the dome light should have a constant 12v to it in ours...since it has the switch on it to turn it on whenever. So who knows. I wouldn't think it would be any different. Three wires I'd assume, 12v constant (switch/home link) ground, 12v door trigger.

it just has 2 wires. its a power and ground. everything is contained in the unit its self.

Well I meant our stock ones. Being a map light I wouldn't think it would have a door trigger, though I wasn't sure how they functioned. It's been a while since vie been in the CL.
