Yeah depends on the yard. Some do, some don't. The "other" yard I go to, only when I need to because I don't like them and they don't have much there, won't sell whole cars.

It's a shame, cuz I've seen some nice cars in there I'd like to fix up.

Yea here in tn they wont let you unless you pay for every single part on the car and that would be down right crazy. lol My shop teacher even offered to let them weigh the car and he would pay the scrape price still a no go.

I've seen a lot of cb7's and other type of older american cars that I would love to fix and nothing is really wrong with them except for a blown tranny or motor.

well if its a clean cut then obviously someone cut a section of the car to weld into another ... i use to work ina junk yard .. ive seen some crazy ass stuff
