ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    my turbo f22a build

update new pics page 2. pics of the car

this is my first accord. i have always like the cb7, but just couldnt find the right one. well a guy came into my shop about a month ago with a 93 ex 2 door 5 speed on a wrecker. and i new it was the one.lol but it needed a motor locked up. he said he wasnt interested in spending our 3500 dollars to fix it( i work at goodyear) so as soon as i heard he didnt want to spend the money i searched through the invoices and found his number.

i called him and asked him and he said i could have it for 300 bux. i was glad to give him 300 bux for it. so here i am about to build the motor for it. i dont have pics of the car yet but i will have some probly tommarow.

i was gonna do the normal h22 swap with I,H,E. but them i seen the power that the f makes. so here goes lmk what yall think

this is still a work in progress

    specs::::

stock block all brand new oem.
3 angle valve job a couple new valves also.
    bisimoto turbo cam
bisimoto 5 layer mls head gasket
dsm manifold (for a short time only)
    big 16g completely rebuilt
extremely large precision fmic(way to big will be downsizing if it wont fit behind bumper)
    custom i.c. piping
    greddy bov
full 3 inch side exit exhaust from turbo back
and soon to be lots of tunning with crome with a p75 ecu

edit: injectors dsm 450cc's for now.

any opinions are great even haters. and if u feel i am doing something wrong then tell me please i am always willing to try to do something better. but for now this is a budget build i plan on rebuilding the a6 that is in the car currently but it will have pistons and rods in it. it may get sent to bisimoto.. i wish.... but that is another project for another time.

i wouldnt leave it stock block. i would invest in some higher compression pistons and some good rods. you should talk to bisi about the rods im sure he would have good info about that set-up and to move your powerband up. i would look into replacing that tiny intake mani and TB set-up.

yeah i agree but i cant find rods anywhere besides bisi with the grp aluminum rods and i have heard that they dont last long. so im unsure of what to do

whoa whoa whoa....wait no high compression...sorry man do some research...we dont want this guy destroying a f22...rods and pistons would help...but Look at MRX... he went over the stock limit on his motor and was fine....its all in tuning and motor tolerances...8-10lbs stock will be awesome as long ass you keep up wit maintainence and making sure your air/fuel ratiois on point...and that you dont over boost...any questions slap me a P.M.

                        good deal man

nice, yah boosting the f will give more power than the H22.
vtec is kewl but not that cool.
I have boosted an F22 and currently working on a H23.
                        boost is an addiction!
                        any questions lemme know!

Higher compression is generally not a good idea when boosting. The stock block can hold about 250whp reliably with a good setup, and this guy seems to be using pretty decent parts. No tiny turbo, no sidemount intercooler, and he has plans for a properly tuned ECU. I have faith in this one, for once!

thanks guys. i would never go higher compression. i missed that part of his post. but yeah i am going to stay stock bottom end. and i plan on spending lots of time and money on tunning. i wont to see what i can do with the stock bottom end. but we will see. i should be getting the motor finished within the next 2 weeks. then i will have to drive it about 6-7 hundred mile for break in then i will put the kit on it and send it to the tuner. thanks for all responses.

we've seen over 400 on a stock bottom end. race gas, and drag duty only, though. it did finally give.
