How to make my car unstealable?

So I have a '97 civic now for those that don't know. I live right by the max (lightrail) so there is alot of tweakers and thieves around these parts. I don't want my car to get stolen. I have an alarm with a kill switch...also the latch to pop the hood is gone so you need pliers, so they cant just pop it then rip the alarm. Is there any other way they can disable the alarm? I wanted to make a plate out of metal that would wrap around the steering column =p

It doesn't even have a radio in it as of now so I'm not too worried about it being broke into. Eventually i'll need more protection though.


I have another question, I have a 1997 Hatchback CX. The vin says ej6 but i've been reading online and i get two different answers, anyone know if it's an ek or ej? the vin says ej but maybe the car is stolen =(

Well my car isn't that nice so I doubt someone is gonna try really hard to get it. I'm just worried about the dumb ass kids and tweakers that don't really know what they are doing.

get one of them wheel-locks the orange ones that everyone seem to get esoecially the civics. Or fuel-kill switch

Kill switch is good. You could hide the alarm in the engine bay.

Or you could hook the alarm up to the horns so the alarm is a bitch to disarm because the horns are inside the bumper and are pretty inaccessible, especially in a hurry.

Ya my alarm is in the engine bay and it does have the kill switch...but people always tell me they will just set the alarm off on purpose then rip a cord or something. I'm not sure i've never tried to steal a car.
