Hello, everybody. I was kinda hesitant to post in the "Member Ride" section because I haven't done much to it. But, I am a member, and I have a ride, so.... Anyway, I'm back as far as having a CB7. I had one briefly before I totaled it; Uncoordinated drivers, lol.
I bought this car one week ago. It has only had two owners. 227,000 miles on the body & engine. I can tell a difference between the F22A1 motor and the F22A4 motor I had before. The A1 is a tad slower. I'm loving the pop-out windows on the coupe. It gives it a sporty look, I think. I paid $1500 for the car. It had a couple of problems, the wrong side view mirror was mounted on to the drivers side door, window wouldn't roll down, hood/trunk lid was dented & oxidized pretty bad. So far, I have got a different hood($30), new side view mirror($6), trunk lid w/spoiler($25), and got the windows tinted($100). The car shifts, & drives great, brakes are brand new. It only has one dent on the body(See picture below)
Future plans:
-Change the interior from Maroon(I hate it) to beige/tan-Got a black dash today.
-Remote Start W/Security on Friday.
-Throw some Audio in there. It sounds like crap now.
-Prep for paint. idk what color. Thinking White, Black, or Arcadia Green, or the stock Seattle Silver? Not sure yet? One of my buddies paints for a living, so I got the hook up.
-H22A. Idk Auto or Manual? I live in the city, and have driven a Manual before, and it sucked..Not sure yet. Will be ordering this in a couple of weeks.
-Suspension. Replace bushings. Have some H&R springs from before, all I need is some Koni's, and I can drop it!!
