Back in march after putting it off for 4 years I finally got my license
First car was a 98 chevy metro.. Got the car in exchange for tattoo work
I had yet to even do so it was a good deal to me.
shortly after I drove it into a pole dodgeing a pedestrian in the middle
of the road which in downtown vancouver belongs to them...
The guy I got it from is a good friend and he took it away on his
flat deck and dropped off a 92 explorer xlt loaded!
i was stoked to say the least.
after driving it for a couple months too work and than home each day
and paying over 400 a week for gas i realized it had to go and sold it that week for 1300 cash.
sorry for the life story...
anyway this entire time I had been looking into different 4 cylinder cars due
to my gas requirements. I found a picture of a 1993 se clean as hell and fell in love. Two days later I found this
a 1990 ex-r sedan
right away i realized this was the car for me
I found cb7 tuner within a week of getting my sedan and started the mods
I painted the interior

got a set of da headrests, made a custom mesh grill with accord logo
debagded the whole car except the grill
repaired all the rust and buffed out the scuffs
painted the side moldings and lips all around to match the frost white exterior
put in a K&N SRI, ngk plugs and cords and installed a decent sound system
it was less than a month before I was completely positive that
I should have gone with a coupe like I had originally wanted.
The sedan was just to good a deal for 1100.
So I found a girl selling a coupe and just for the fuck of it offered her my sedan and she accepted!
I was so stoked I drove out there that day and pulled up, when she came out and tried to start my car up it was dead......
We thought it was the starter so I called a flat deck buddy and got it home replaced the started and the alternator and still nothing, it was
about 2 minutes of testing by my mechanically inclined and mulit-meter equiped brother to find out there was a short from somthing in the line
and we realized it was an old alarm that was immobilizing the ignition.
After pulling it out it fired right up so I called the girl back and she met
me the next day and made the swap. minus a few dents dings and
paint chipping from a obviously ignorant previous driver, it was beautiful
wow....

Now I have my cb7 and Im going to put everything into this one.
Thanks for listening, hope to meet a few enthusiasts on the westcoast
threw my ventures with the site
and enjoy my MRT ill keep updates as frequent as i can. peace
