Original Post/Review, January 2011:

This is technically my father's car, purchased September 2010. I've borrowed it for the last month or so since my family is out of the country. I haven't yet done a photoshoot, but will try and have one next weekend. I don't plan on modifying the car other than getting some high-performance summer tires. The car is an absolute blast to drive; excellent shifter and clutch, engine revs to 7100 with no fuss, turn-in is sharp, and the audio system is better than that of my Accord in orders of magnitude. The pedals are perfectly arranged for proper heel-and-toe downshifting. Even fuel efficiency rocks; I averaged 34.5mpg on my best all-highway drive, and averaged 23mpg on my first-ever tank (I was enjoying the car too much).

Future Plans:
I intend to keep this car unmodified and original. At most, I will install the Accord Euro-R or TSX A-spec lip kit, and OEM fog lights.

I spent almost a month looking for a 6-speed in my area. The overwhelming majority of TSXs are automatics. The manual is so well-designed I would never have it any other way.

The A-spec lip kit is even tougher to come by, but I completely agree with the color. The charcoal grey was my only complaint when finding this car, but I honestly couldn't find my desired blue or pearl white with a manual - anywhere!

TL manuals were, surprisingly, less rare than TSX manuals. On eBay motors, you can sort by transmission choice. It comes in handy when there are dozens of a particular car for sale.

Well, I've kept it for the last month and a half, and the car has really grown on me. Right when I've just started calling it "mine", I'm giving it back. It's a little sad, really. At least I'll have my Accord back!

Updating after more than a year. I've been driving this car almost exclusively the last 6 months, putting on 10,000 miles in that time period. The car is just about to hit 120,000 miles, has been through one fender-bender (repaired), and had a failed starter motor at 105k. Everything runs flawlessly, and VTEC hits as hard as it always has.

I just did a full 8-hour detailing job and had to post a photo. She looked filthy after a 3-week 2000-mile blast, and really deserved a good scrubbing.
