    F22A6 OR H22A1/4 Oil Cooler O-Ring Interchange

Just a heads up, I couldn't find this in the forum anywhere. I recently had to fix my oil cooler leak.

    The original Honda P/N was:
    91316-PT6-003

    The new Honda P/N is:
    91316-PE7-730

This o-ring can also be found in a pinch at O'Rielly's or Autozone in a HELP! kit # 82562

The measurement of the o-ring is 62.4mm ID x3.1mm cross section.

Install using assembly lube or small amount of gasket maker, then torque the 30mm bolt to 54ft-lbs.

If you know of any other sources for this o-ring or extra info please update this thread.

There are a few DIY/How-to threads, so this is not one of those.

And just in case anyone is curious, only automatic transmission F22A6 cars got them. It has nothing to do with the transmission but that's what Honda chose to do.
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

I just did this today. Took about 20 minutes. I highly recommend doing this next time you change your oil and filter if you haven't done this before. I'm 2 hours away from the nearest Honda dealer so I had to scavenge an o-ring myself.

FYI HELP! kit # 82562 is specifically an oil cooler gasket kit. They didn't have it at any of the stores I went to, but Autozone did have the HELP! kit #82560 which was a transmission AND oil cooler gasket kit. The o-ring is the right size, but it is a round o-ring instead of a square one. It seems to be sealing just fine, I'll update after a few days. It had about 20% compression which is the perfect amount and should hold just fine. Kit was 6 dollars.
