"New posts" list feature is broken

I get an error page complaining about the database when I try to view the new posts list. Has anyone else noticed this? A few nights ago it seemed like all of CB7Tuner.com was down, not responding. Did anyone else see that? I was expecting to see a post about it on here, but nothing yet.

Just a heads up in case there is a pending issue, etc.

I just made a thread about this not realizing this one was here. The site is also really slow for me. New posts doesn't work on my phone either. Glad it's not just me. And yes i saw the site was completely down exactly a week ago.

Search hasn't been working for a couple days... I guess nobody can get mad at someone for 'not searching first'

Weird. I swear I haven't messed with anything! (this is why I'm hesitant to upgrade or modify the software... because of little bugs like that!)

I'll get in touch with Pandemic and see if it could possibly be something on their end. Maybe a server update that isn't 100% compatible with this software. Hopefully we can get it sorted.
At least it's nothing truly crippling. I should probably post the "how to use Google to search this site" instructions a bit more prominently if the search feature is busted...

My two guesses:

1) The database is running out of space, either on disk or in memory.
2) Some portion of the database is corrupt.

Both 1 and 2 can be caused by little bugs in software, that regular upgrades are intended to cure as the greater community discovers the issues.

I keep getting logged out now as well, FYI.

i don't get logged out but am experiencing issues as well

so i did the next best thing

i went outside and "hotwired" my cooling fans since i was changing cap/rotor and busted the fan switch (:-( !@#$%^&****^&%#$^*%$#&)

made it look nice with a toggle switch in the dash

Thanks to Deev and anyone else involved in fixing the new post search. also the new little "enhancements" are pretty cool, although unutilized by me yet they have been noticed. One thing though is the font/color..bitmap..whathaveyou, is white and kind of hard to see and doesnt match the sites theme,anywho thanks.

It was all Pandemic. I couldn't figure out what the hell was going wrong. He had it fixed in a matter of hours!
