    Turbo F20 H23 franckenstein BUILD **pic's+vid**

Hy guys, well be building a f20-H23 Franckenstein. This due to our dear friend STEF who was willing enaug to blow his h23 main bearings @ 10 PSI with a full XS power turbo kit (booooo). He drives a 1996 EDM accord SR (h23)

Pjotr (Turbo P) on the right, and me on the left (we used a torqe wrench bcs that was the biggest wrench we could find to undo those main cap bolts)

I also wanted to post some Vids of the H23 turbo but his server is currently down.

This thread is going to grow as the swap comes along, just sharing knowledge.

according to my homework the F20 (simular to f22, but destroked) tensioners and h23 belt can be used with this swap.

revlimiter was a frequently visited area.... as shown in the vid... Oil temp surged. The #2-3 and 4 main bearin were toast, the cranck flexed and pistons were hitting the head. and he was like "dude my turbo is making weird noises" lol

We just replaced his tranny, bcs he powershifts quit often... he stopped doing that now, its costing him to much $$ right now.

That block is so freaking sexy....Ok back to reality for me. I like the build. Make sure you have plenty of Huile lubing up your parts this time.

I searched, but i'd like to cet some confermation on this one:

                            F22-H23 hybrid, use:

-F23a head gasket (why not an f22 or h23 one??)
                            -F22 tensioners (both)
                            -H23 Timingbelt
                            -H23 cranck gear

No projects at the moment... danm

don't quote me on this but i think the f22 and f23 share the same oil journal positions and coolant holes. And then since the bore of the f23 is the same as the h23 you use the f23 Headgasket as a medium.
