You would probrably want to ask the ecu king (mrx) about that. He probrably knows what pins on the po6 control the knock sensor. I already had a knock sensor wired, so it was just a matter of mounting the sensor on to the block, which I believe is the same thing dutch is going through right now.

Just to clear a few things;

- this aint my car
- wer using a stock h23 ECU + VFAC
- The turbokit is made by XS power and has a T3-T4 63 trim turbo
- All the internals are stock
- 10 psi spring
- I'm not responsible for him blowing his engine again just helping him get back on the street for the least $$ possible.

Update on the swap;

The engine is back in and almost everything's hooked up. Still need to do things as axles downpipe etc.

Then wer doing a test cranck and after that a test start, letting her warm up a bit and then go and chainge oil and filter again. This just to flush the last metal particles of the busted h23 . After that we hand the car over to Stef and he wil retune his new engine. Lets hope she stays in one pcs

update:

after some difficulties putting the DP back on, the first F20-H23 turbo frankenstine has come to life

Oilpressure is @ 80 psi and she runs like a charm. Didnt testdrive yet, but well do that soon.

officially the first european F20-H23 turbo frankenstein

No vids yet, but all i can say is that even with the f20 bottom end the thin still is pretty fast... i'd say 220 hp ish (comparing it with my h22cb7 preformance) The T3/T4 is big tough, kicking in at 4k and hitting full boost (9 psi) within a wink..

We'r handing it over to its owner tonight, he will do a retune (fingers crossed) and then well shoot some vids.

engine runs nice, only got a cel... probably bcs of the EGR valve wich hasent got vacuum.

254.5 hp @ 6000 rpm
335 nm @ 5000 rpm (thats 248 tq)

thanks dutch, i'm doing a F22/H23 frank swap and the pic's you put up have been very helpfull (especialy the ones where you fill in that hole on the head)
