A friend's girlfriend question?

Okay so my friend Chris' girlfriend, who I am friends with, asked me to a hockey game because he has to work, I would like to go, but then again I don't want to my friend to assume anything if I do go. I thought about asking him if its cool, but then I thought that might be a little weird so any input on this would be cool.

yes its a very awkward situation youre in, but you are much better off telling your friend she invited you and make sure hes not weirded out by it if he is then don't go if hes not then youre ok as well.

it depends on how close your are with your friend..my bestfriend's gf is my ex so i chill with her with np problems (not really a hard break up) however if he were to hang with my gf i would have no problems either b/c they are friends to and i trust him (not really her thoguh lol)

Check with him first. My bestfriends girl and I were really close friends in high school if she and I were going to kick it alone we checked with him first.
