I believe the street view is quite new. The google maps (and google earth) are old news. I been know that too.






And LMAO @ Sanders... The aliens DID come... and they gave us fried chicken!

maps (and earth) are old like deev said, but recently google has been sending out crews in cars with panoramic cameras on top to drive around and capture everything. they are doing the major cities first then branching out. if you look down you can see the front bumper of the google car. i wonder what other crazy things it captured, what may be hidden in the corners of those street photographs... same idea as "looking for waldo" on the maps.

The car that did Philly is damn near fully visible... You can move the camera and look at the front and back of it You can even see the camera rig.

SERIOUSLY??? I'd be worried that a satellite took this clean a pic of my house.

My damn house doesn't even offer street views on Google, but they did update the image, although it looks like it's from last summer or fall, before I got my Astro.

Google Earth Street Views are sideways shots from satellites, just like the overhead shots, but at an angle.
