how much do you think a class ring from 1955 would be worth its 14k gold
there is not really anything fancy about it.
not jewels or anything just gold.

my grandpa is wanting to get rid of it not me. i tryed to find the price of gold but i couldn't figure it out i am to stupid to figure that shit out.
my grandpa wants to get rid of it becuase he got a nicer one for his birthday. i bought him one with the jewel in it and got his name ingraved in the inside of the ring so he wants to get rid of the old one
Honestly you may not get much because school rings dont go for much in the resale market unless it is a collector type of situation or it is diamonds etc or a metal not useally found . it prob wont get the going rate for gold now (scrap) or less depending on where you take it to sell, remenber you wont get a good price at a pawn shop . just my thoughts I could be wrong .
Put it on ebay with a reserve price that you'd be happy getting. Any more is a bonus. You'll have a much better chance of getting more for it that way than you would at a pawn shop or jeweler. The pawn shop will lowball. The jeweler will give you the lowest possible value for the weight of the gold... as that's all it is to them... gold to melt down and make new stuff out of. 14karat isn't extremely pure. The lower the karat rating, the harder and less pure the gold is. I believe 24karat is pure gold... and very soft (which makes lousy jewelry.)
i have always had bad luck with ebay
dunno why i had a seller say i ripped him off when i sent him the package and everything so i got fucked overt on that deal
it was a rom 102 card for dish network that is a burnt card for dish so i dunno i had him sign for the package and still got screwed
condition, color, and any scratch marks are taken into account. i'm your typical asian from asia whose into jewelry and i know and pay attention to these things.
14k isnt much at all the lower the number the less true gold it has affecting price and value
That says $930.31. I dunno if thats per ounce, per gram or what. Probably ounce(troy ounce). 14k will usually fetch a higher price. Id look to get a bit. Not a shit ton, but a nice litt;e bit.
