alright, i've decided to revive this thread because i'm in a new situation and i need help/advice please.

and i just wanted to say, everyone's advice has really helped! it just seems cool to me knowing i've got a whole bunch of people behind me.


alright, here's the thing:

recently, my friend has been chilling with this girl. they're just friends though, as i asked him what his intentions were, and that's what he said, so don't get it twisted.

this girl is awesome. she's funny, smart, and she's pretty cute too. basically, she's everything i look for in a girl. but here's the problem:

she chills with us. the few people i chill with consider her as a friend. i do also, but she's basically like Elaine on Seinfeld.

now, i'm worried about doing something, simply because if i do, it could make it awkward between the whole group of us. but if i don't, i might regret not doing something.

i'm in a difficult situation, and was wondering what everyone thought of it.

but to the OP of this thread:

what you have to do is(i know its alot easier said then done) but just relax and try not to think about it too much cause the more you think about it the more you get nervous and then mess up and so on and so forth

and the key is to just be yourself, cause whats the point of having some one like you for who you arent, instead of who you really are you know? so in other words just be your self, keep it calm and just wait cause you know what the saying is: "good things come to those who wait" i mean it was 4 years since i last had a girlfriend before the one i have now, and i think it was well worth the wait, so just stick it out and things will go good man, sounds cliche but its the truth

it's not like i don't want to. i DO want to ask her. it's just that she chills with me and my friends a lot and it could make it really awkward between all of us.

I mean if they're your friends they shouldn't hate you for it.
things may get a little awkward at first but I'm sure everyone can get over it.
