Ok, here's how it works:
NOBODY KNOWS WHO IS LEAVING THE COMMENTS! Nobody... but me. So, don't say something expecting someone to know who you are, unless you put your name in the comment as well (turbomaxx is one of the few that does this). I've seen some comments asking to buy items, offering to help with something, etc... The recipient has no idea who you are.
Furthermore, and this is my main reason for this thread... DO NOT FLAME IN THE REPUTATION SYSTEM!
This is cowardly. Because people don't know who is calling them an asshole or an idiot, it's worse than outright flaming in a thread.
I view the reputation comments at least once a month. Therefore, if you get banned for a week (yes, a week... because you're a damn coward) that would be why.
This past month, I have seen a number of seriously negative comments in the rep system. Negative is fine. Saying you don't approve of something is fine. Calling someone an idiot, asshole, jerk, moron, ricer, etc... Telling them that nobody wants them here, that their car sucks, etc... will not be tolerated.
I will not be banning anyone that I saw in this past month, because I've been lenient in the past. From here on out, I will be banning for a week for anything that I determine to be malicious.
