A mid to late 90s C class isn't the stuff of spoiled rich kids. It's not an impractical purchase for a working 17 year old. Well, not the initial cost, anyway. The repair costs will kill you, unless you really get lucky!


You couldm't find a mid 90s 3 series for under 8k? Weird... When I was shopping, with a 5k limit, I found a few in my area.





Go Lexus. When it breaks, and it will... because it's an $8000 luxury car that's 10 years old or older... the parts are Toyota.

I might look for a GS300... Well, I will, but I won't be solely set on one.
I'm off tomorrow, so I'm going to go look at a few places around here, as well as buy a new drivers side door handle for my ranger, which I've been needing for a few weeks now!

The 300SL is a kickass car. But really... 18 years old (probably made in 89, even!) No matter how well it was maintained, it's going to need to be babied... and repaired regularly. I would keep a $2000 reserve on hand at all times if you expect to keep it on the road and drive it regularly.

Fair enough. I plan to have something nice by the time I get out of high school, which for me is January 21st. Not an unattainable dream if I am smart with my money.

I've pretty much narrowed it down to a mercedes C280.


I just love the way it looks, and it's entirely affordable.

It's going to be babied, because it will be a while before I have to money to fix it if it breaks. I think I'm going to start saving, and looking for a black or silver one with black leather interior...



My goal is to make it look something like this one day...

Yeah That was the direction I took my sebring in, now I want to do it with something a little nicer!


Man, I can't wait to one day look out in my driveway and see a Benz sitting in it... Behind my Dakota... which will by that time be sitting on 22" rims...
