Why is the joker in this new movie?
Didn't he die in Batman with Michael Keaton?
    You know, in the acid?

And in Batman, it was the first time Bruce/Batman have met Joker.
Where does the Dark Knight fall into all of this?

Well I just got back and god damn. I had high expectations, and they were met.

I didn't see the first one with Christian (if that's even how you spell it) but I would imagine it was just as good as numero dose. I think there was a perfect amount of plot and action and I think Heath did much better than Jack.

I was reading an interview with Jack Nicholson after the tragic death of Heath Ledger and after the reporter asked a question relating to Heath's passing he replied with a chilling, "I warned him" or something to that effect.

Heath did very well with putting himself into the character and I give this movie

      See it.

I was surprised by that. Also surprised by who they DID kill off and who they let live.

(Keaton)Batman was the best. I do respect Adam West, but come on. That was like 40 years ago. So i consider the Keaton Series, the first. I also use them as a base for everything else. Batman Returns..great. Batman Frover..ok. Val Kimer was, eh, but Jim Carey and Tommy Lee Jones were good. It was brighter than usual, but maintained its darkness. Not to mention to soundtrack was fucking BADASS!.
Which brings me to Batman & Robin. First of all, they shouldve called the 3rd one "B&R", and the 4th one, "Forever". Makes sense to me. That seems to be about where things started losing "sense". B&R was like a frigging ***-pride parade. "AH-nold, Goerge Clooney's nipples....come on. Although...Alicia Silverstone's nipples...

Havent seen "Begins" and im glad. Dont want to. Didnt like Bale in American Psycho and dont like him as Batman. He talks funny. Yes, i know he's welsh and has to talk like that to sound american, but dammit, it upsets the integrity of the visuals. Dark Knight, which btw, is the first Batman to ever -NOT- include the word "Batman" in the title. It is simply titled, "Dark Knight". It was good. Ledger was good and all. But it had confusing points. There were Rope-A-Dope's all over the place. ("Rope-A-Dope"...look it up, kids..) I was having trouble keeping pace with the action AND the story. Not to mention, i just dont like the idea of going in and "re-writing"(so to speak) something that was already good the way it was. The Keaton Series were great. Why change it? I also grew up watching the early-mid 90s cartoon. Always wanted to see Scarecrow/Mr. Freeze in the movies. I was disappointed by both.

Yes. It was a great performance. Not quite his usual roll, but nonetheless.

Still, I guess it had to progress, or we'd be watching Batman Begins again!

Heath Ledger was awesome. On par with, if not better than, Nicholson. Such a shame he's not with us anymore. I heard that Johnny Depp is going to be the one to take his place. I imagine he'll be fantastic, but it won't be the same.

There were a few things I didn't like. The unrealistic comic-booky stuff, though fitting of the genre and character, was a bit of a put-off after seeing Batman Begins. The fact that Batman growls ALL the time... I understand why he'd do it when talking to cops and stuff, but there are times where he could use his normal voice. Truthfully, I think it sounds silly most of the time. Plus, with all those toys he has, couldn't he get some kind of voice modulator, rather than snarling at everyone like Chris Barnes? (search it, kids...)
Also, the reappearance of the Scarecrow in the beginning, reduced to such a silly and pathetic character, was just idiotic... why even bother? (I didn't ruin anything for anyone... it's in the first 3 minutes of the movie, and TOTALLY unimportant)
x2 on the voice. I could understand him trying to alter his "Bruce Wayne" voice, but come on. After awhile, it got old. I didnt like the way they set-up and left the villians. Two-face was biggest complaint. Without spoiling it, I'll just say i was disappointed by his beginning and ending. I grew up with late 80s-early 90s Batman....thats not how i remember. Plus it made more sense. The reappearnce of Scarecrow wasnt needed, yes. And even if, they didnt need to make him look like such a wuss. I dont think anyone should take Ledger's place. And i dont think Batman should be "realistic". Granted we're taking him from the most un-realistic of places, and trying to make him as realistic as possible, but i wanna watch his adventures and see into his life. Not relate with the guy.

Not acid. Thats how he came about. He died from falling off the top of a church in the end of the first (Keaton)Batman.
Dark Knight is some jack ass's idea of his rendition. *Im not saying mine could be better* I just dont like this new way. Im a fan of the old school(and original) and i dont believe it shouldnt have been redone in the first place.

            Thats creepy...

I dunno...I just like the original. Its what im used to. Its what i go to when i wanna see Batman. These new ones are good, but changing characters and revamping plots and things....just shouldnt be done IMO.

IIRC Bale did not have such an annoying voice when he was in Batman costume in Batman Begins. But this time it was horrible.

I thought Bruce Wayne's voice is fine. Christian Bale has played many roles where he needs to use a voice other than his own. I like many of his movies.

i thought the reason his voice sounded different was because he puts something on his voicebox to alter it
