    Pronunciation Thread

    Anyone remember that pronunciation thread awhile back??

    It was for trying to figure out how to pronounce brands like; Mugen, Apexi, Ractive, GReddy, etc.

    I looked for it and couldn't find it. If no one else can find it, who's up for starting a new one?

      I always said "myoo-gen"
      I used to say "A-Pex-ee" then i heard a guy on tv say "a-pex-I"
      I always thought it was "G-Reddy"

      I cant think of any other right now, but there was a whole thread on brands and how ppl pronounced them. It was pretty funny to see all the different variations.

          And what about Tein, is it pronounced like tane? and it really drives me nuts when people call Edelbrock, Edlerbrock. Not sure why, but it does... sunsabitches!

              I've heard tee-in as well. The first time I ever heard of Tein, there was a Thunderbird around here, it had a HUGE Tein sticker on the rocker/door/fender, I had no clue what it was, after thinking, I HIGHLY doubt the car the sticker was on had any Tein product, oh well

                        Mugen = Moo-Gen (as in GENeration)
                        Apexi = Ah-Pex-ee
                        Ractive = Ractive
                        GReddy = Greddy (like Freddy)
                        Tein = Teen

                        thats how i pronounce them...

                          apexi should be apex -i

                          Because it is actually short for Apex Integration.
