Discuss Changing the Startup Image on CB7tuner

In the past few months, I have shown as well as referred a couple of people to this website and heard nothing but negative comments in regards to the Image found on the start up page. I have nothing against Jack aka Inspired, but I personally would like to see this page updated periodically with other members’ rides. It could be the AOY Winner, or the AOM winner, but that’s just my personal opinion and from feedback I’ve heard from multiple people. What do you guys think? Deevs?

Lastly, this is not a thread to Bash Jack aka Inspired, just a thread discussing the aesthetics of the CB7 front page so please keep this in mind..

it used to be like that...every month after the AOM was selected that person was the cover page car. someone just got lazy lol. if you look inspired did win aom at some point. someone just hasnt followed through.

I kinda like th idea of a colage of different aspects of the site. Engine shots, wheels, car outlines, etc. :shrugs;

No, it was because the people featured on the front page bitched to Deev that they didn't like their picture.
So, the mods stopped changing it.
It's also time consuming to change the front page.

So, if any of you are interested in taking control of that... PM Deev to see if you can over that duty.

yeah I like the colage idea abd yeah it gets repetitive seeing the same car on the welcome page all the time so it'd be nice to come one day and hey look!!! a Different car!! or a diferent welcome page!!! yay!!
but I understand why the whole changing the welcome page stopped. What I on't get is people complaining about their picture if they were featurded?? I'd be effin stoked!! I don't car how the picture looks as long as it was my ride up there

not to be bias but i think this should be the perfect front page lol.

plus when you type down "JDM ACCORD" on google pictures you see this car as the first result

No offense taken at all. I already know my car looks like crap and didn't deserve the front page. And that picture is actually Aaron's. That was a shot he took when we were at Whittier Park..I remember Aaron PSing it by sharpening the edges and it came out worse when it was uploaded for the site.

Its not up to Deev. Deev doesn't handle the front page. Phempa does. Phempa is the one that deals with the picture for the front page and uploads it and then puts it for CB7tuner.

It's cool Craig. I totally agree. Its been on there since around March. It is time for a change. Even though it is my car, I got tired of seeing it on the front page.

I PM'd Deev about it before and Deev guided me to Phempa, so just shoot Phempa a PM. He deals with the front page.
