Animated gif question

I feel stupid for not knowing. i used to, but I've forgotten.

How do you make the background invisible in an animated gif? I could easily enough make it with a black background, but then my anigifs would have a black background on other forums. I used to know a way to do it using paths in PS, but I can't remember. Any help would be appreciated!

In Adobe ImageReady you delete the background, thats the only program I use for .gifs

You have to use image ready for animated gifs. select the background layer and then you can either change the color of it or just delete it and make it clear.

I've never used Image Ready. I use PS for the frames, then stitch them together with something else (can't remember the name of it right now). I'll have to look into getting IR, I guess.

Oooh, I just saw that IR is no longer available, but that PS CS3 will make animated gifs. Guess what I have? lol I'll have to play with it a little, but hooray!

It's a Japanese thing. We're talking about an ancient and wondrous culture that has evolved into a country that sells used schoolgirl panties in vending machines. And pedophilia is somewhat subjective. There are places and cultures where 13 year old girls marrying and starting families is considered the norm. Even in the US, 14 wasn't considered too young to marry and start a family that long ago.
I've got four kids, one of them a four year old girl. I'm not bothered by pedobear at all. I don't think it's encouraging pedophilia, I feel it actually makes fun of pedophiles. Most of the images that are used for pedobear pics make me wonder WTF were they thinking when they took that picture? The addition of pedobear makes the picture less disturbing to me than the pic by itself would be.

Yea, I get that but its still stupid, pedophilia is always gonna be a touchy subject with me and I see nothing funny about it
I hate that "how to catch a predator" show also, I just dont think this typ eof shit should be funny, maybe I'm really uptigth regarding this topic. Sorry for thread jacking.

It's cool, jack away! I don't find ACTUAL pedophilia funny, but a tiny stuffed (or cartoon) bear pointing out the obvious inappropriateness of an image is funny to me.

back on topic. I've been playing with cs3, I've got a quick crude test anigif together, following a tutorial on wikihow that I found. However, when I save it as a gif per the tutorial, it's static. It's not switching between frames. I can export it as a movie and it works fine. Any ideas?
