It wouldn't be all that much harder than a J swap. The C30/C32 sits in the back of the NSX, driving the back wheels. Essentially, it could be adapted to sit in the front, driving the front wheels.

Granted, nobody has done a V6 swap yet at all... but that's more due to cost issues than fitment issues.


Maybe I'll get 2. One in front, one in back. AWD, twin C30.

Someone long LONG ago made a twin engined Toronado, I think. It sold on ebay a couple years ago for about $8000.

i have a D16Z6 im working on something similar. took off the head and sold it so im takin the oil pan off and takin the rods and pistons out and setting up a crank walk. then spare pistons in the cyls w/ holes in the glass top. sit your cup in the cyl.

I remember that magazine and I had that exact issue at one point as well. This was back in either 97 or 98. That Tiburon was a 98 model that they had fitted another Hyundai motor in the back..and they built a wall in the back and made the hatch out of fiber glass with a dark tinted window to boot.

300 hp to both motors..and it ran high 10s.

Talk about total sleeper.

I thought I was the only one who remembered that issue haha.
