whoever said that 'JDM shit is getting old' i totally agree. fucking everything is jdm now. everyone says it and hardly anyone knows what it means.

in my opinion JDM/USDM means bone-fucking-stock.

when u put a CAI or exhaust on it, its no longer JDM. when people go to autozone and get a 'type r JDM shift knob' it not only makes me laugh but it angers me.

anyways back on topic. the fact that someone can accept some1 elses style without negative critizism is just down right disrespectable.

if u open up the thread, dnt see what u like then go somewhere else and dont post at all.

i cant even consider the fog lights as jdm, they were also available on usdm cars
and the sedan is made in us, so to me its not even jdm

but i comment all their threads. but enough about that.

the whole reason i ever join a fourm is for help, ideas, and advice
so i the way i look at it is some one post somthing about ride and the way it looks, its their opinion take it or leave it

This makes complete sense to me. I just hate the artificial feeling that I get from a lot of posts that I read. Personally I agree with what you're saying; but, some people are assholes. Or choose to represent them self as one. I see no reason to stop them.

And on a different note. I find owequitit's tone to be quite condescending. I love it, makes the forum more entertaining. Just because he can pull off this tone with his knowledge doesn't mean those who don't take the time to post as thoroughly shouldn't be allowed to give some what rude replies.

I have a pet-peeve that stems from people acting like they are perfect, or better than others because they are kind and respectful, when in reality I know that you're not all that you say you are.

This is so idealistic. And creates a really inaccurate representation of people's opinions.

I agree with that statement in an idealistic sense. But, Let's face it: people disagree. A forum is an open place for communication. Communication is much more interesting when their is conflict.

I mean, I was a total dick as Jonas. I TRIED to be a dick as Jonas. I also tried to provide helpful information whenever I was.

There are 3 types of dick forum members. Those that offer attitude AND help. Those that offer nothing but offensive comments. And those that have a mix... but are usually entertaining.

The first is the best. And the most honest. The second group is the one that I would like to eradicate from this forum completely. The third type is what you've referred to... like 460sx. It can get irritating at times, but overall, the entertainment value overrides the negative aspect. Plus, those people are rarely over the top.

I agree. And we WANT these kind of people. They entertain us, and shed some truth. These kind of threads coupled with the encouragement of idealistic responses discourage these kind of members.

AKA let people be themselves. Good or bad.

Oh, and I think that by creating this thread you are taking away from these members that you "like the most."

ive been seeing it a lot lately being that we're getting new people here practically every other day.



if you see a new member with a body kit, projector headlights, or altezza taillights, dont go telling them "get rid of those things man. get some blackhouse headlights and some red/clears." why down some one on a style they like? if you dont like what the person has on their car, dont post in the thread. you dont like the contents of the thread, theres a button called " Back" that the makers of your web browser made.

his car looks perfect with the taillights it has. it flows perfectly with the color of the car.

look at his body kit. one of the best fitments with it ive seen.

dont have the 1st thought in your head " that guy needs to get rid of that body kit." i sure wouldnt tell that to him. he does sports this kit well.

one last example: aww_shiet.


ebay one piece projectors turned into style. but even right out the box, you can have some good output with them. getting an HID kit or some brighter bulbs like Sylvainia or PIAA will increase the output of these ebay style lights.

in the end, this is the tuner world. i dont know how many times ive seen it on H-T, but i see Civics and Integras that all look the same, just different rims and a different color. the tuner world is about individuality. not doing the same thing that the guy next to you did. dont be so quick to say "get rid of that body kit. it looks like rice." Customlowz and doughboy both pulled off their body kits and have won numerous shows with their cars.

dont bash the new people or tell them get rid of their altezzas. its what they want. dont tell them to get rims of their projector headlights and get OEM and blackhouse because it looks better and has better output. recommend some brighter bulbs or an HID kit at a good price. its their style. its what set them apart from the crowd....

I agree. This thread was due years ago. A kit or lights is just like anything else: It could look stupid in the wrong hands. JDM whatever falls in the same catagory.

People make the craziest things out of things that others consider shit. Take this for instance:
