    Everyone Clean your CPU fan

mine was so dusty, that it was running at 85 deg C! thats really hot. the max temp from intel was 75 lol.

i cleaned the dust out of the heatsink, and it worked!

it was running horribly slow i couldnt figure out why (this is my old p4 3ghz comp)

so if your computer is running slow it might be because its running hot!

and also if you have a video card that has a decent GPU but no fan, you can hook a fan onto it and you will have lower case temps...

or get a program called speedfan

    thats all.

In one of the computers that I use for music production, I have a total of 8 fans in the case/power supply and a water cooling system in it. The only downside is the noise. I took care of that by locating the computer outside the music studio.

just cleaned mine last week. the 120 on my cpu was ok but found out my exhast 120 was dead lol. so i'd orded two 120 mm thermal controlled fans for my case. she is ulber quiet. good to have filters in front of your fans granted that air flow is nto that great....

i use speedfan, it's great, I use it to monitor temps and speeds, it reads out on a palm I use as a display

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

nope, like i said my shit was overheating. But... maybe i helped someone not get the blue screen of death. im sure my donations to this sight pay for the kilobytes i used to post this. so if you don't like my thread GTFO! nobody said you had to read it. you saw my name and decided to open it, only to have wasted a minute of your life. just... don't click on it next time. problem solved.
