    I know there's some fans of 311 on here (a bunch of you came up under mutual friends, lol). I've been listening to the new album "Uplifter" on myspace and I thought I'd share before it hits the streets.

    Yeah, I've been listening to their new songs when I'm on my laptop. Seems pretty good to me.

      wow i had no clue they were releasing a new album .... its been years since i have heard anything from them ... thanks for sharing

      edit* just got done listening to some of it and even though im extremely hard at hearing i can always make out rythme and beat and their new stuff has nice flow music wise ... ill have to look up the lyrics later on

        I never cared much for 311. They're a good band, but I never got into their vibe. And the one dude looks like a stoner Zack Morris.

          Nah, I'll still dig them. Everybody has their own tastes. I've been told I taste minty (I go through a can of peppermint Icebreakers every couple of days, so I probably do taste a little minty! )

            They did a hell of a cover of the Cure's Love Song, though... I always think it actually IS the cure... and then I get mad when it isn't.

              It's actually one of my favorite songs of theirs! It is one hell of a cover. It holds special meaning for the wife and I. She's a HUGE 311 fan.

                  That's awesome.

                  I love the original version of that song, because I know that Robert Smith wrote it for his wife... and they're still married. Not a common thing for famous people, it seems!

                  But anyway... back to 311...
