Got another letter from the police in the mail...

If I don't fix my "junk or abandoned cars" I'm going to jail for 10 days.


So, I guess it's time to get those things running again, eh?
I'm going to be having a BBQ at my house either next weekend (not tomorrow, but the following) or the weekend after to fix my cars.

I'll provide food and beverages... I need my CB7 buddies to lend a hand so we can get BOTH of my Accords running in 2 days time! I also want to get my carport built (which will be good if we don't get the hatchback working... that should hide it sufficiently from the police.




For everyone in the area, let me know if you're good for either weekend. I can't have EVERYONE over, since my house is really small... but I'd like to have a good crowd of people I know I can trust, both at my house, and fixing my car!


The things that need to be done are:

CB7:
Throwout bearing needs to be changed
Clutch hydraulics need to be bled (only partial pressure now)
Oil should probably be changed, because it's been sitting all winter.

The CB7 is on my one-car paved slab, so it needs to be fixed ASAP to be moved... so the CA5 can be fixed!

CA5:
The engine on my porch... needs to go in. Once the old one comes out.
The transmission in the trunk... same deal.
Dashboard needs to be swapped.

Other than that, it's good. Unless someone wants to make a junkyard run to find me some clean seats and a hood for me while the rest of us are wrenching!

i'm down to help. not a definate yes but i'm out of school now so thats one less thing to worry about. i missed the last CT meet because of finals so that kinda sucked. i pretty much wanna be part of the rebirth(s).

The 5, 6 and 7th i have a guard drill so no can do.

Ive never swapped anything but tail light bulbs LOL but i can eat some food, help manuever stuff, and direct the flow of traffic around the house to keep things smooth.

Oh and yea ill bring some goodies too!

I got it last Fall... same thing.

It's my own stupid fault for not keeping it covered! The wind kept blowing the cover off, and I got sick of putting it back on. It's on now, but I don't want to risk it!


I'll be sure of the date in a day or two... but I'd like to shoot for next weekend if possible. Sooner is better! If we don't finish, maybe a day the following weekend would be doable as well.

And yeah, anyone that isn't all that great at wrenching can oversee... grill, keep an eye on things, etc... I don't have much to break or steal, and I won't have anyone I don't trust... but still, it's nice to have someone looking out so I'm not paranoid! (don't need someone logging onto cb7tuner.com under my name and posting up "i'm closing the forum!"... again...)
