i miss my cb7...and this site

not in the sense that i regret that i sold it. i mean i went to the turbo side..and the civic side..and love it...i love beating g35's and m3's....and the feel of driving a go kart on the highway..but man..i miss my cb7..it was a comfy vehicle...spacious..power windows..moon roof..it was just a great daily driver..with the civic its...decently loud...theres always leaks..its fun and fast but gas aint really cheap...

i also miss this site...back in the day..id wait weekly for videos from accordtunerex(that was his name right..the old owner)...the random fights with sparkle..finally seeing what deev looks like and he looks tootally diff from what i expected...i mean this has always been a cool board..the meets are fun..with my other boards and i cant even post up pics of my car because its either not jdm enough(thought that trend would die by now) or im afraid to get it stolen...other boards are just a big dick contest..pause...all they do is bitch and moan and have to feel manly by typin bullshit..anywho..just passing along..idk if anyone from like 5 years ago is still on here tho lol

I feel ya on the missin the cb.....I had a 98 civic....then a 08 civic si (had to sell cuz got laid off).....and when I sold that I came soooooo very very close to getting a fairly mint 90 hatch......but the thing that sold me on the cb are the things you miss (and i knew id miss) it has power everything...moon roof....fairly quiet......plus I know the chassis inside and out by now haha.

But im not gonna lie to you....the board is different then from a few years ago.....its fairly large now.....and with a large forum comes a large number of idiots.....but there are still enough cool people around to make it an awesome site

Yeah, the place got big... the cars got cheap, and a large number of the newer members are "yo mah boi gotz dis lectric turbo thin on he supra n it maks lyke 200 hp i wan get 1 on ebay but deyre lyke 25 bucks. n e 1 kno were i can git 1 cheeper?" types of people. They want something for nothing, because their cars are worth $500. They type like idiots because they think it's cool. Most of my days anymore are yelling at people because I can't understand them... (I also work 100 hours a week, so I'm a grumpy summabish these days!)

No matter what I drive I will always be a pain in the ass here....

I like where the site is going because there is a crew of old schoolers who are still passionate about the CB7 chassis. And you have a lot of quality builds now that could only have taken years to complete (Ronald's build for example). Like Deev said in another thread eventually the only ppl left will be the absolute CB7 nuts as all the so-so cars will be off the road.

You have peeps like Jak, Karl etc... tons of people who have been here forever, know the cars, know the people, have the connections and the little $$$ to really take a build all out. And those will prob be the only people left in a little bit.

Plus the CB is a nice whip. When they're 100% suspension + motor wise they're fun. Hell my car now with its issues is still a decent drive. They're good cars
