well i work at a&a auto parts for about a year and half. i love it there, but 7.61 hr aint helping it. but i dont understand i got paid 8.50 and didnt boost my accord till halfway into this job. so i guess i just needed to put my spending in place.
so fast forward it. 2 weeks ago i decided to quit and move on to this new job called Haulmark in McAdoo which is like 40 miles away from my house and 30-45 min drive to work everyday. They build car and trasport trailers there. and pay started out at 9 a hr then after 30 day review, if i got hired i was going to get paid somewhere around 15 or more depending on how many trailers i did.
So first week went well. Started learning but the guy that was training my was a total scum and dickweed. So he bitch if i did something wrong and shit.
So this week started ok then went downhill fast. he started bitching alot. told me i was slow and slowing him down. And told a supervisor that i did something wrong, supervisor bitches at me and i was like wtf, he didnt tell me not to do that, he told me after it was done. i was like wtf and ready to knock him the fuck out. i got really pissed.
Then later on in the day, my tooth started to hurt bad. i couldnt work as fast cus of the pain. i asked them for meds and no one had any. i worked 6 hrs in mad pain. i was like fuck this shit. even for 15 a hr, i wouldnt work here. so thursday i wake up in the morning (btw i have to wake up every day at 4:30, be at the kids how at 5 to pick him up and be at work at 6) i wake up with the toothache again, i was like fuck this i aint going to work.
so i tell the kid that i have to call them. i asked him (since hes been working there for 4 years) whats the number to call off, because the main office opens at 8 and i have to let them know at 6. wtf? hes like i dont know. im like fuck it, i aint going to come in.
later on in the day the kid calls me and says that they were pissed and said i have to bring in a doctors excuse to prove i had a toothache. i was like dude, i havent seen my doctor in 2 fuckin years, who am i supposed to go to? hes like what u mean you dont have a doctor, i was like dude i dont have insurance for the past 2 years! hes like you gotta make something up or else they will fire you. i was like fuck it, i aint doing shit and aint coming in.
so basicly to sum everything up, i dont belong in the factory jobs, i belong in the automotive industry, cus im good at it. so im going back to my old job till the end of the year then going to uti for college and hopeully land in a nice european car dealership.
