Any news channel that has a vocal, political extremist as an anchor (be it left or right) is not worth listening to, and acknowledging as truthful news. I consider myself a political conservative (NOT to be taken to mean republican) but I refuse to watch FOX or CNN because they both are very biased, one right and one left.

As to the video, I don't like nor agree that the government should have that power, but it's old news since the Bush administration passed the Patriot act. There is absolutely no privacy from the federal government anymore, we gave that up a long time ago. I hate that this is a fact, but I also don't put myself in a position where it could bite me later.
