I drink alone all the time. Drinking right now, in fact.
I don't get drunk alone, but I'll have a drink or two.
I've grown fond of frozen gin. Straight. The only thing that scares me is that my dad DID have a drinking problem... I don't believe he was an alcoholic, but he definitely drank far too much. Frozen gin was his drink of choice as well. But he'd go through I don't know how much gin a night (he hid it... I don't hide anything... not that I have anyone to hide it from!) and a 6 pack of Budweiser a night. I'll drink MAYBE 3-4oz in a night, and not every night.
If you need it, and feel you can't function without it... then you may have a problem. If you regularly choose not to do something else so you can stay home alone and drink, then you may have a problem.
If you had a rough week and just want something to turn your brain to mush for a night... not a problem unless you do it often. Then you either need to address how much you drink... or change the things in your life that are driving you to it!

when you drink so much it starts to interfere with your life, then you have a problem. ask me about it

on youtube look up the word 'shreds' and look for the band names (ie: Nickelback shreds). Video with instruments and vocals dubbed in. They make me lol.

And those "shreds" videos are freakin hilarious! AccordWarrior showed me Metallica's One... and I just lost it. That has to be one of the best (and the Nickelback one there is probably a very close second)
