    Thanksgiving Day Driving FAIL= ME

    Pictures explain what happened.

But I thought if I was going fast enough I would be able to beat the sand. Didnt happen.

Luckily no damage to the oil pan or anything...just dug it out and had a friend with a Ford F-150 pull me out. Enjoy.

*sigh*. I only need one new tire. all of them are good except the passenger side front.

But no, it was a dirt road and then all of sudden turned into sand..and thought if I got enough speed, I would be able to get over it...but it acted like a sand trap that you see at the drag strips.

when I went over it..just stopped from a 40 MPH roll to zero and then just sunk down.

More tread on a tire works but when y ou drive through sand you usually want to go slow not fast. Thats how you dig yourself in a hole. Really close to bald tires dont really help though as people have mentioned.

Imagine if you had a 2 inch drop or if it was slammed all the way down, it would have been worse .

LOL, I dont carry a shovel all of the time...if you look closely you can see my friends truck, he came, gave me the shovel, I dug the car out and then we pulled it out. Thank goodness for the factory tow hooks.

Actually Pawa, I brought that point up as I was pulling it out yesterday...I was going to put the mint 9293 front bumper on with the fresh paint and new lip. I am glad I didnt.
