so, about a week ago i got my snow tires (205 55 15) mounted on a set of prelude sawblades. as soon as i took it for a drive i noticed clicking when i turned right. i figured putting on the larger more aggressive snow tires brought a slight problem to a noticeable level. seeing this as a telltale sign of a bad cv axle i replaced it. feeling proud of myself i took it for a drive only to find it still made the noise
. i jacked the car back up and tried to wobble the wheel. no play, ball joints and tie rod ends are ok... supn the wheel with a stethoscope on the control arm, no wheel bearing noise. ah to hell with it ill just keep driving it until something falls off, then ill know whats wrong.
so today i have the car back up on jack stands checking just for the hell of it... and... ready for this? one of the tire balancing weights is sticking out and hitting my upper control arm.
that was the noise. fml.

i totally agree with you, i hate seeing cars running around with aftermarket shit they dont need while at the same time their brakes are down to metal on metal
