and make sure they are not sticking.

My Gas mileage went from 26mpg-->32mpg-->37 because my fronts were sticking.

lol, my mileage went from 26 to around 29-30 after i fixed my rear brakes. Had a broken return spring and they were dragging... so i agree with this statement fully

Well your in Cali, so yours probably wouldnt get rusted up and seized, but depending on how you drive and what kind of driving, 30mpg in Cali isnt all that imo.

On way to check the front is to take out the Caliper Bracket bolts. The whole assmbly should fall/slide off. I had to pry mine out.

Yeah, I think mine are sticking... I have to pry the bitches off...

It would also explain why I don't seem to have much power lately...

Eventually when I have about $300 Ima get some new front calipers, new MC (I think mine is leaking past the interal seals) and finish my ABS removal with non ABS accord front lines...

My brakes now suck so hardcore its not even funny. I just did pads and rotors all around less than a year ago, so I know they arent the problem...

I was thinking that this could be my problem too! Omg i have to check my shit now because i do run semi-metallic pads and they constanly squeek even though i am not braking!
i have to check my shoes too. Some one should make a DIY on Brake shoe Removal and installation! That would be bad ass.
