    mmm skyline

Yup. Pretty much the most awesome day of my life. I got to drive an R32 Skyline GTS-T with a single turbo RB20.

My buddy/co-worker bought it. Lucky SOB. I got to take it for a pretty lengthy rip myself. Must say, for my first time driving a RHD with a stick, I did pretty damn good. I'd actualy consider a RHD import for myself.

Since Canada lets imports 15 years and older in here, we can finally get R33s now too. I've always been an R32 fan and this is pretty much the most rediculous car I've ever driven.

I was surprised to see how many there were when I moved here last year. I think I'd only seen maybe a handful in Ontario.

When I moved into where I live now, my landlord had a 90 300ZX twin turbo RHD.

Cuz I also live in Lethbridge which has a pretty good automotive scene here, I see Skylines, Supras, Soarers and all sorts of awesomeness daily. And it's also about the only place where you can drive a souped up Honda and not get hassled by the cops.

The importer we got the Skyline from also told me $2800 installed for a JDM H22 with 5 speed.

2000 for the motor, 800 for the swap. Does that sound reasonable?

That was probably the closest I'll ever get to a Skyline.

Why not? 2000 is the going rate in Canada for imported JDM 4 cylinder engines.

800 covers the whole install, including swapping mine from auto to manual.

                          Nice man.

Theres a silver R33 running around up here in NH with Vet plates...and I assume the owner had the car imported here through the military..from what Ive been told its costly but if you have the money allot of military guys do it.

There are 4 or 5 of them around my place now. East Coast Canada. None of which I would give you more than $1k for. They are all in desperate need of some TLC. The people (kids) that jumped all over the first RHD import they saw. Probably didn't realize how much they cost to repair and maintain. It's unfortunate that a lot of people (kids) don't understand that part of importing/buying a 15-20 year old car.

                              overrated IMO.
I don't like the look or the horsepower.
