How much cash do you usually carry? There is just this one funny incident that makes me wonder.

Yesterday I walked around with $400 in my pocket.
Only because I loaned it to a friend and he just paid me back...
When I was a waiter, I'd always have cash. Not a whole lot (because I didn't make a whole lot!) but $30 or so usually. Now, debit card only. And I have 2 checking accounts. One that the debit card can access, and one that holds the majority of my money. The debit card does not access my main account.

I just carry it around in a duffel bag
Jp usually no more than $40 unless i know i buy something that costs more and it's gonna be cash, otherwise i just use my debit card

My Cb bad, Cb bright and the cops can kiss my Cb lights - I’m gone!

That's what I do. Plastic is so much more convenient and accurate. That way after you pay you're not having to carry around change.Originally posted by Slick_Nine View PostUsually only card, but when I'm out with friends I must have between $20-$40 cash. It becomes a PITA to everyone when we try to split a check between four or more people with card.
