I want an S2000 sooo bad! But...

...I dont want to get rid of my CB, or my Element. My wife is off to school in a few months, so I'll have both cars to myself. CB is going to be gettin some bodywork and paint, plus a few more tricks. Ive been wanting an S2K for so long now, that Im so frikin lost!. These toys can get addicting ppl! I love my CB; Ive invested a good chunk of cash on it, which is a definite NO go for now when it comes to getting rid of it (at least my engine/tranny). Any suggestions? S2k is so damn sexxy, and fun...and within my budget.

No way man, I love that Element too much. Plus, its my wife's car, and my future trade in for her graduation gift (3-series BMW). Also, its my parts carrier, and long trip car. I just invested bout 1k in maintenance in the last 2 months, to include:

          - (4) Yokohama Geolandar 215/70/16
          - Amsoil 10w30
          - Honda Window Regulator (Passenger)
          - Honda Air Filter
          - Honda Wipers (front & rear)
          - Honda ATF
          - Honda Trans. Oil Filter
          - Honda Brake Pads (front & rear)
          - Honda Oil Filter
          - Brembo Blanks (front)
          - New Battery (Autozone)

...it adds up when purchasing "Honda"....the only way to do it.

She hates S2K's for some reason...idk why. My wife is the type that is cool with the car shit, likes the loud, high rev, and fast cars, but wont drive them. She cant understand stick shift. Ive tried, trust me. From B16 Civic/CRX's, to H22's, no can do. She just doesnt get it. lol...

x2. They are notorious for getting their tops cut and getting their seats stolen..

Out of all of that, all I really saw was "element".

Sorry, but i hate those things. YUCK. so i'd say, sell that

                    downpayment for said S2K!!

                    life is good.

I know what you mean by the Element practicality. My wife owns a 2003 EX MT 4WD. It comes in handy for hauling misc. things we've purchase for our house, nice on long trips and great in winter. It is also as maintenance-free as you can get for 200K miles! No joke, I'm a definite fan of that K24. She has 150K miles on it already and only abnormal repair was rear pinion seal on rear differential. I'd keep this vehicle.

Since you're the one that wants the S2000, it comes down to if you want to sell your CB7 or not. Otherwise wait and get it later. It's a hard decision, but I think it's the best one. No point in having 2 cars you're going to be dumping money into with your life evolving and more expenses coming.

                            Be patient.

I want one right now too, but it isn't possible.

My goal is to get a Pathfinder sometime soon as a dd for a few years.

Sell that for a dp on something nice like a 2007 Accord.

The wife will be getting an 08 CRV.

Then im getting a cb down the road to be my project car.

And for my mid life crisis im going to be getting a S2k LMAO!!!!!!

                            Well maybe....thats my tentative plan.
