You can work as many hours as they give you. I love over time lol. Saturday is time and a half and sunday is double. And holidays is triple! gotta love it lol. Not sure if everyjob is the same but thats how it is at boeing

Well you can't work all the hrs in the week, the limit is what ever they give you. Mechanics can get killer ot, mainly due to how they do the pay there. My shop teacher logged over 80 hrs of pay in one week and barely worked 30.

At an old job I had, it was uncommon to not get overtime. It was usually around 50-55 hours/week, but sometimes it was 70+ hours/week.

if you work for walmart they will banish you to hell for overtime
if you work in the oil field overtime is almost mandatory

legally it is no less than time and a half when you get over 40hrs on weekdays...not weekends...what your company pays depends on their policies...but can be no less than time and a half.

Does not apply to weekends, holidays, or days of rest. I.E....you do not legally have to be giving overtime on these days.

My company hires incompetent employees and they suck, on top of doing my own work as well as cleaning up their mess I have a second job too. OT is starting to overlap my second job's hours. Blows balls

I used to work 80+ hours a week... You get used to it and at the time I could do it like nothing... f that now... If I am stuck at work for more then 5 hours a day now I am pissed.

i know that feeling....my 8 hour days are so frigging busy and stressing that i ensure i leave on time everyday....but in all honesty, i wish i could get some more overtime right now but my job has cut back drastically.
